Even though the journey of following Jesus does not require a lofty intellectual starting point, we would be amiss to say that continuing that journey without studying what Jesus was all about is acceptable. To that end, we want to challenge ourselves to never stop the growing process, recognizing that we will be life-long learners on this journey.

Gateway Community Church is a purpose driven church based on the Great Commandment. Our goal is to help people develop their lives to the fullest, just as Jesus intended, and to help people acquire and develop the tools necessary to face the challenges of every day life.

Our programs are centered around the 5 purposes for the church:
